SENATE BILL 68
SB 68 creates the Nonchartered Educational Savings Account Program to empower parents with greater control over their children's education by offering them access to their state tax dollars to use for educational expenses at nonchartered, nonpublic schools through educational savings accounts administered by the state treasurer.

In the program, students receive an ESA worth 90% of the average public school funding per pupil adjusted by income. The program draws from state operating funds similar to other existing scholarship programs.
